143 Baseball was born from a shared love of the game, our families, and a problem we couldn’t ignore.

As former college players, coaches, and now baseball dads, Jimmy Litton and Frank Nunan experienced firsthand the early mornings, long drives, airports, tournaments, and sacrifices that come with travel baseball. After seeing equipment damaged and struggling to find a bag that truly protected bats while carrying everything families needed, they decided to stop searching and build it themselves.

That vision became The Leadoff—a premium travel bag designed around the real needs of today’s baseball and softball families.

But the meaning behind 143 goes deeper. The numbers 14 and 3 are their sons’ jersey numbers. 
Together, 143 means “I love you.”
