WARRANTY COVERAGE

143 Baseball warrants The Leadoff to the original purchaser against functional defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date, when the bag is used normally for its intended purpose.

COVERED COMPONENTS

  • Stitching and seams: Manufacturing or workmanship failures.
  • Handles, structural components, and hardware: Functional failures under normal intended use.
  • Wheel housings and axles: Functional failures under normal use.
  • Zipper hardware: Manufacturing-related slider, separation, tooth, pull, or hardware failures.

WHEEL PROTECTION

Wheels take more abuse than almost any other component on a travel baseball bag. If a wheel or wheel assembly experiences a normal-use functional failure during the one-year warranty period, 143 Baseball will generally provide the appropriate replacement
wheel or wheel assembly at no charge. In most cases, the entire bag will not need to be returned.

AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD

Our goal is to keep The Leadoff in service, not force replacement of an otherwise good bag. After the one-year warranty period, 143 Baseball intends to make replacement wheels and other serviceable parts available at a reasonable cost, subject to parts
availability. We intend to maintain common service parts for at least five years after the applicable model is sold.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Normal cosmetic wear, scuffs, scratches, fading, dirt, abrasion, or expected deterioration from regular use.
  • Damage caused by misuse, overloading, overstuffing, dragging, crushing, cutting, excessive force, accidents, or improper storage.
  • Airline, baggage-handler, shipping-carrier, vehicle, or other third-party damage.
  • Zipper damage caused by overstuffing, forcing a caught zipper, impact, crushing, cuts, or external damage.
  • Unauthorized alterations, repairs, or modifications.
  • Loss, theft, or incidental/consequential property damage.

WARRANTY REMEDY

After reviewing an approved claim, 143 Baseball may, at its discretion, repair the product, provide replacement parts, replace the affected product, or provide another appropriate remedy. The remedy will be based on the nature of the defect, serviceability of the bag, and parts/product availability.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

Submit the information requested in the separate Warranty Claim Process. Please do not ship the bag to 143 Baseball unless specifically instructed to do so.
